Ron Haslam - the legend
During the 1970’s, 80’s and early 90’s, Ron competed as a Grand Prix motorcycle and road racer. On the track he won three World titles and four British championships. He also competed in the Isle of Man TT races winning the Formula 1 race in 1982. His nickname “Rocket Ron” came from his fast getaways off the line.
Ron Haslam and Proskins
Proskins have worked alongside the racing legend for the past 10 years. The Ron Haslam Race School is based at Donington Park racetrack in Leicestershire. This year we have been proud to also work with his son Leon, the “Pocket Rocket”. Proskins provided him with his ultimate baselayer kit for the 2016 BSB season which proved to be a an absolute cracker with Leon finishing as runner-up in the championship.
