The Proskins Comfort Mask and Snood: FAQS

The Proskins Comfort Mask and Snood: FAQS

Since the launch of our Comfort Face Mask and Snood Face covering we have seen and answered lots of the same questions time and time again. To make it easier, we have complied a list of all of the most frequently asked questions relating to our masks and snoods.

Are the masks made in the UK?

Yes, all of our masks and snoods are made in our factory in the UK. We are based in North Nottinghamshire in our main factory, with an additional departments in factories in Leicester and Nottingham.

How long is the delivery period?

In most cases we ship the products within 48 hours of order and this is the standard we strive to maintain. In cases where we are suddenly inundated with orders this may extend slightly but we will always keep you informed should this be the case.

How do I wash my mask?

Your mask can be washed in the same way you would wash your Proskins leggings. A 30 degree wash with no fabric conditioner. Due to the antibacterial finish on the product you do not need to wash your mask at a high temperature, 30 degrees is equivalent to that which you would wash your hands with.

How often does it need to be washed?

Your mask should be washed after every long wear, for example a day at work. During this period we recommend maintaining high hygiene measures and avoiding touching your mask where possible. Should you re-adjust your mask or take it on and off, we advise washing or sanitising your hands immediately after. For this reason we would recommend taking advantage of our multibuy offer and purchasing a couple of masks to alternate wear.

What does the antibacterial treatment do?

The antibacterial treatment helps your garment stay fresher for longer by killing bacteria present on the surface of the mask or snood. It acts as an additional protective layer and is very similar to the treatment used in hospitals.

Do we supply the NHS?

At present our factory is divided into two halves, one for our garment production and the second half to supply scrubs for the NHS.

Can I buy in bulk?

Yes you can. For all bulk enquiries please email sales@proskins.co.uk
