Perfect Skin For The Party season
Only a few weeks to go, you’ve got the dress, bought the shoes, exchanged a few looks with John from cubicle 6 but something is missing. Yes, the most coveted party dress accessory of them all – glowing, flawless and healthy looking skin. So, how can you improve your complexion? Our advice, make a trip to the supermarket and check out some of these detoxifying foods…
Nettles
I’ve always feared them. I remember a girl at primary school fell headfirst into a nettle patch. She took a wrong turn running down a hill. The dock leaves didn’t work. It’s odd then for me to think that nettles (taken in tea, capsule or soup form) are extremely detoxifying and can help improve outbreaks of eczema and acne.
Beetroot
I think I’m right in saying that beetroots are a nightmare. The stains, the tough outer, the prep time. So why bother? Well, a lot of scientific research suggests that eating the purple lumps is incredibly good for the body. They contain high levels of vitamin A, potassium, calcium, magnesium and vitamin E. All of which helps fight wrinkles and skin conditions.
Tomatoes
Eating tomatoes can give your a real beauty boost. They are rich in vitamin C, which helps to keep the skin firm and taut by aiding collagen production. They also contain lycopene (the red pigment that makes tomatoes red) that helps eliminate skin ageing free radicals and stimulate circulation. Cooked tomatoes are better because heat alters the structure of lycopene making it more easily absorbed into the blood.
Green Tea
Drinking anti oxidant rich green tea will improve your skin. When warmed the tea releases antioxidants that are proven to be anti-inflammatory and contain anti-cancer properties. If you really want to give your skin a boost look for Japanese ceremonial grade matcha green tea powder. This has 14 times the antioxidant levels of blueberries.
Flaxseeds
These seeds are great to shake over cereal or add to a smoothie. They contain omega -3 fatty acids that help erase spots and iron out lines. The alpha linolenic acid helps keep the skin lubricated preventing it from becoming dry, itchy or red. Alongside this, flaxseeds are known to be anti-inflammatory which can help further reduce skin irritation and inflammations.

When and how to wear Proskins SLIM
It is recommended to wear garments 8 hours a day, for 28 days to gain maximum impact. In the first week of use you will relieve excess fluid, redefining areas such as ankles and calves, following that, your skin will feel smoother, softer and firmer.
Proskins SLIM can be worn as fashion leggings, to exercise in, under your normal clothing, even to sleep in.
As the cold weather approaches, they will keep you nice and warm as body temperature is regulated to 37°C. Worth thinking about packing if you plan spending anytime on the ski-slopes this festive season.
