LBD Challenge part 2

Regrets, I’ve had a few; but then again, too many to mention

Oh, it seemed such a good idea at the time. That one more drink. That one more twirl. We all know the Christmas Party circuit can leave you feeling worn down and hungover.

But fear not, these tips will help get you through the season in style.

Located the Bed

You have probably heard it a million times, but drinking water last thing at night will make alot of difference to how your skin looks and how you feel the morning after the night before. Alcohol is a diuretic, which causes you to need the toilet more and in turn makes you become dehydrated. Try and drink a pint of water before you go to bed and then one during the night. It sounds simple, but it could help keep your skin hydrated and prevent the dreaded hangover.

Congratulations You’ve Made it to Work

You need energy and stability fast. There’s a couple of options. Endurance athletes often take ginseng in tea or supplement form before a race. It’s been used for thousands of years and many cultures swear by it. It speeds up the metabolic rate and many scientific studies have noted it’s strengthening and rejuvenating properties. Another option is beetroot juice. Beta cyanin, the pigment that gives beetroot its colour, speeds up detoxification in your liver, which enables your body to turn the alcohol into a less harmful substance that can be excreted quicker than normal.

The room is spinning

Feeling sick? As well as being a powerful antioxidant, ginger can help to ease nausea by acting as an anti-inflammatory in the digestive system and blocking serotonin receptors in the stomach. Peppermint tea is also used to settle the stomach. Research has shown that it soothe the stomach muscles and helps with digestion. Chamomile tea has a calming effect on the body easing stress and anxiety. It also reduces stomach spasms and cramps that may cause nausea.

Detox Juice

Juicing is a great way to increase your vitamin intake. Late nights and a heavy dose of alcohol is a sure fire way to deplete the nutrients within your body. Carrot, apples and green vegetables help to cleanse the digestive system. Spinach is highly cleansing while ginger and celery will help neutralise the effects of cigarette smoke, stomach aches and sickness.

Take a Long Soak

Make time to relax. Having an Epsom salt bath is an easy way soothe tired limbs and rejuvenate the body. Epsom salt helps relax swollen blood vessels and can draw toxins out of the skin. Just empty a few cups into a warm bath and relax for at least 15-20 minutes. You’ll have a great night sleep and feel fantastic the next morning.

Get a flat stomach with these 3 simple, quick and easy exercises.

Double Crunch

Begin lying flat on your back with your legs stretched out in front of you and your arms by your side. As you crunch your abs, raise your chest and tuck in your knees so that your upper body and lower body meet above your hips. Slowly return to starting position, making sure your shoulders and heels meet the ground at the same time.

The Plank

Lie face down on the floor with your legs extended, your body propped up by your forearms. Slowly lift your torso and legs so that only your forearms and the balls of your feet touch the floor. Now contract your stomach muscles and try and hold the position for 30 seconds.

Leg Lift

Lie on your back and place your hands palms down, on the floor beside you. Raise your legs off the ground to a 45˚ angle, making sure to exhale as you go. Keep your knees locked and try to hold for 30 seconds.

When and how to wear Proskins SLIM

It is recommended to wear garments 8 hours a day, for 28 days to gain maximum impact. In the first week of use you will relieve excess fluid, redefining areas such as ankles and calves, following that, your skin will feel smoother, softer and firmer.

Proskins SLIM can be worn as fashion leggings, to exercise in, under your normal clothing, even to sleep in.

As the cold weather approaches, they will keep you nice and warm as body temperature is regulated to 37°C. Worth thinking about packing if you plan spending anytime on the ski-slopes this festive season.
